BTW I got that rear from Hawk's and LOVE IT!!! 3.70 posi/disc is a hell of an upgrade from a 2.73 pegleg. I stuck it in last Friday and I swear my off-the-line acceleration doubled.

Cool, glad you were able to get a much nicer geared rear end.
I should be able to get my pig back on the road soon. Getting a lot of parts off my friends car as well as off his lt1 motor that he ordered.

Sounds like fun to me....I had a bit of a problem with mine today. Couldn't figure out why the hell it wouldn't start...ended up taking the cap off the distributor thinking the module had to be bad and when I did the rotor button fell out!! Damn thing had broken into 3 pieces...had to buy a whole cap and rotor to get one because nobody carries just the button. PITA.....

Advance Auto parts up here sells just the rotor. I have one sitting in my garage from my days of the carb.

Yeah but does the rotor come with the little spring-loaded carbon button? If it was one or the other I would expect it to come with the cap since that's where it's mounted.

Oh well, doesn't matter. I fixed it already and she runs like a raped ape with these gears.
