temp gauge not working.. 2016 camaro
That's my baby!
I have a 2016 v6 camaro. All the sudden check engine light came on and the temp gauge does not work. No digital readout and the needle will not move.
Car runs fine, fluid levels are fine. Fan runs loud and fast..
I read somewhere unplug the ecm and re plug and it fixed it. where is the ecm located?

Do NOT clear the PCM (not “ecm”) by disconnecting it (actually the battery). Have it scanned for codes. Clearing the PCM may clear the code and delete the record of what set it.
The check engine light indicates a trouble code is set, and the fact it set at the same time the coolant temp gauge stopped working suggests the code is related to the coolant temp sensor.
