Def. looks like the 3.6L the question will be if it's the DI version at 300hp or the lesser hp variants above. Either way good V6 engines from what I hear.

A nice cold air kit would look a lot better than that huge airbox. Good start for the aftermarket.

I hope it has a DI'ed V6. It has to have Direct Injection because if it wasnt, the HP rating would be around 260. Thats the same as the Cobalt SS. I dont think GM will let that happen.

I really think now that this is the DI V6. Look at the top of the valve covers. You will notice that there appears to be an electrical connection for each cylinder. In the cutaway view of the DI V6 you will see these same connectors. I believe these are the direct injectors.

Engines aside, we can clearly see Zeta here. Stating the obvious, but cool none the less.

Good pics. It does seem to show a certain similarity between the Zeta based vehicles. Very obvious around the firewall.

I just hope that GM goes cheap and leaves off all that plastic used on the G8 for the Camaro. I don't want an engine cover and I don't want the whole engine bay covered by plastic panels. It just adds useless weight and cost IMO. I loved the look of the LS1 in the F-body as opposed to the Vette because they left off the engine cover but then you could actually see the engine. Although not beautiful the LS engines are not bad looking either.

That intake manifold looks suspiciously similar to the one used on the 4th generation 3.4L.
