is it bad that I am tempted to start piecing together an lsx without knowing if I can get this car?

From: Oshawa - Home of the 5th-gen
I've re & re'd the whole K-member/engine assembly from a 4th-gen TWICE - once was my '02 (LS1), the other was for my race car (LT1). It's not what I'd call "easy" (there are some tricky moments) but it's not THAT bad . I also re & re'd an LT1 from the top, and it was NOT pretty, I tell ya that . I truly think it's easier from the bottom for the 4th-gen.

However, having looked at the 5th-gen, I'm pretty confident it'll be a pretty quick re & re from the top . Heck, the spark plugs are actually VISIBLE at a quick glance, and even look to be easily ACCESSIBLE!!! (big improvement from the 4th-gen). Dropping out the bottom would be a waste of time/energy IMO . Looks like it should be "back to the good 'ol days" of yanking engines like the first three generations of F-Body .
