Chances for the LS3?
Based on the volume of the Camaro's that will probably be sold, I can assure you being 20 when it comes out isn't going to be much fun. But as long as you live with your parents it won't be so bad. It'd probably be only 300 a month for a Camaro at your age, even less when you turn 21 and again when you turn 25. I'm sure your payment will be a lot more, depending on what you put down. Even if you get a V6 Camaro around 20,000 with nothing down except maybe to take care of dealer fees + taxes you'd pay around 350 a month.
I actually owned a brand new Mustang GT for a day.. until I returned it to wait for the Camaro. Didn't call up on the insurance though.

I'm actually paying less for full coverage on a V6 Mustang with some weird insurance company I found online (Unitrin Direct) than I was paying for limited (No Fault and crap, I live in Florida) on my '88 IROC before my accident. State Farm tried to hike me up to $400 a month after I did some serious damage to a dump truck, a box truck, and the road with HazMat having to come out and clean up some fuel a few years back when I had my blowout. I've actually been quoted for even less than my Mustang for a Corvette with Geico. Statistics wise.. even though I'm 21 years old, Corvettes just aren't driven that much to constitute a much higher rate.

Agree with living on your own, got my money for a house and about 10 g's already seperate for the Camaro/Mustang/Corvette whatever I decide to get, will be more if I decide to wait a little longer. If you buy a house it'll make it easier to buy the Camaro. I got approved at maybe 2/10 banks for 5.9% on the Mustang I bought on my own credit. I have a perfect score but I've only had credit for a couple years so they think you're more of a risk if you're a younger guy.
