Not to mention the top dog Camaro wouldn't get all the carbon fiber body panels, hood window, huge brakes, etc, etc.

If the camaro weights 3600, I'd take a 425hp ls3.

I'm not saying the top Camaro will be SC, but like 93Z-28 said the Camaro would not have the rediculous amount of carbon fiber, brakes, etc. Those are the things that bring the price to $100k not just a SC.

personally I don't care what GM does as long as I can get a v8 with 3-400hp for under $32k

If GM could put AFM (active fuel management (right?) on the LS3 and somehow give us better highway ratios, I'd be all for it.

I just heard about the LS8. Very interesting. I wonder how much a crate motor would be. I would drop one into my 93.

Forget the hood window, but I wouldn't mind the large brakes and some carbon fiber.

Carbon Fibre also means higher insurance rates.

Luckily for me I make enough money and I'm old enough where insurance rates don't concern me much.

Unless you have mega bucks, you won't be able to afford the top dog Camaro anyway. As a new model your insurance will most likely be based on your driving record and the purchase price.

I was 20 when I bought my 01 ss back in 2001, completely in my name the insurance was 180 a month with a clean record. Insurance prices have gone up in the last 7 years so I'd expect it to be more.

180 is cheap compared to what i was thinking but ill expect it to be more since that was 7 years ago. i also have a perfect record and i plan to take defensive driving just to make it go down alittle more.

Call for a quote on a new Mustang GT. It'll bet the insurance costs would be similar. Give you a place to start at least. Plug in your age that you will be when you plan to buy.
