StLounatic, what does your car run?

 

I also see many Hotcam cars trapping 110, and many of them trapping 106, so what's your point? I've had my car to the track two times, and both times it was hot and humid. I'm sure I could go to the track on a 30 degree day in October and run a high 12 at 110 MPH, but what does that prove? My car runs just fine for what I have done to it, and if I wanted I'm sure I could **** away a bunch of money and buy a 58mmTB, a MAF, long tube headers, true duals and some dyno time. However, I don't give a rat's *** whether you think my car runs up to par or not, and I'm happy with it, so I'm going to leave it alone.

BTW, even if your car is "running up to par", it's still no match for a properly driven LS2 goat. Period.

Dont no, i dont go to the track. I dont think i'de pass tech, plus i dont really care.

 

Funny i roll patrolled cars that trap 106. But yet my car is no match for a ls2 gto. Funny how i beat the ones i've raced, funny also how i've never seen one run into the 12's stock. But hey you know everything about everything. Fact is your cars a turd for whats done to it. Like i said before my car has always been called a freak, when all i had was a gutted cat and a CAI i was beating mid 13 second bolt on lt1's and stock ls1's. I've also taken a few needless things off the car, its no 3700lb underachieving turd.

I've seen a auto 2:73 hotcam formula that was trapping 108. I dont even think the thing was tuned, your car has issues so dont compair your mods to mine.

 

I'm guessing it would run a mid to high 13 at 102 or so.

 

So tell me about these "races" you've had. Were they full 1/4 mile races from a dead stop? How much did you win by? What exactly have you removed from your car? What does it weigh? Maybe your "freak" of a car weighs 3,000 pounds and does indeed run 12's. Tell us the details.

I'm not going to argue about how underachieving you feel my car is, because I'm not the one claiming to beat LS2 GTO's, you are.

 

Guess all you want to, your wrong. And to be honest with you, by looking at your times i'de own you on the street. I would have pulled a mid to high 13 at 102ish with the car was completly stock. I got lucky and ended up with one hell of a fatory freak, but hey keep thinking every lt1 that was made ran the same. It just shows how much of a clue you dont have.


Hotcam+6-speed trapping only 106....... WTF?

 

When all i had was a CAI and a gutted cat.....

I beat a stage 2 srt4 from 15mph to 115mph, he had times slips for mid 13's @ 105
I beat a H/C/I and geared 71 Chevelle that had a 454, from 10mph to 120mph, he had time slips for 13.1's
I beat a few of the 385hp lightnings from a dig, most where by atleast 3 cars @ 110mph, no time slips there
I beat quite a few near stock ls1's lids, cuts-outs dinker **** like that. One of the ls1's i beat with 500lbs of extra people in my car, he had time slips for 13.2's-13.4's @ 104ish.
Ran door to door with a bolt on lt4 "lt4 heads and cam" camaro to 100mph.

I got lucky and ran onto a good running lt1, it has pissed alot of people off along the way. No matter what you say on the internet wont change the way my car runs, or what it has beat. When we street race we do it late at night on hwys that have 4 lanes to each side. What makes you think they are 4 second races? I cant tell you how many times we have raced to over 135mph.

I couldn't care less if your car is faster than mine or not, that was not the point. I'm glad you've had a fantastic amount of success in your streetracing endeavors, but you still haven't answered my questions about your car. If it makes any difference, I beat a C5 Z06 one night. GMHTP says they run 11.96 @ 118 MPH, so that must mean I have an 11 second car! Comparing your car to another car's timeslip is ridiculous. I'm glad you think you have a "freak" on your hands, but how about you prove it? Go to the track and get some real numbers for us. How much weight have you stripped off the car?

If you really knew your shat youd know that a 12 second track car can sometimes be capable of nothing better than a 14-sec run to 1320' on street pavement.

If we where talking about fwd cars and only et's i would agree. Trap speed is normaly the desiding factor in street races, due to the fact we normaly race well over a 1/4th mile. I've walked cars that trapped 106 at the track. That was before the headers. My car has not been and never will go to the track. I have many reasions for it, the main one is the fact i wouldnt pass tech.

 

Street racing is the real world???? Um no? Thats probably the dumbest most thing you can do, your probably just some 14 year old kid playing gran turismo or need for speed.

Your also one of the idiots who drives to the cars limit on the freeway so whenever you pass any car I guess your racing and beating it at the same time?
