By 2020 the internal combustion engine may just be on its way out....which means a total revolution in the automobile industry. I that case, its probably better old names like Camaro ride off into the sunset.

Well since Nostrodomus predicted that 2012 will be the end of the world, (ironically right at then end of the NEXT presidential term) I'm not going to sweat it. I'll have my top down on my Camaro as the bombs fall. There will a be a big grin burned on my face as the shadow of me and my Camaro are burned into the road. Now THERE's a vivid picture.

And anybody who's read anything about the Mayan calendar and the geo physical history of the Earth has good reason to fear that date.

There are two possible responses to this from the greenies -- one about how Global Warming is now actually causing more snow....and the other camp will fire up the Global Cooling hysteria.

For those of you who hate this global warming hysteria as much as I do, pick up "Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1500 Years." These guys arm you with 250+ pages of cited scientific fact that will embarass and demoralize any gung-ho man-made global warming activist. As dry as it sounds, its actually a really interesting read.

It's got me scared enough to take out a long low interest loan on the 5th Gen with no intention of paying it all back, apocalypse and all.

No they don't.

The Mayans never believed it meant the end of the world - it was just the end of a year counting cycle. This current cycle began in 3114 BCE, when the old "creation" ended and the present "creation" began. Nothing catastrophic happened in 3114 BCE.

The whole reason this "end of the world" nonsense started was because of two New Age hippies who knew nothing about Mayan mythology or beliefs. Many archaeologists have refuted the "end of the world" idea over the years.

If you have a chance, read "Finger Prints of the Gods", there is an interesting take on this issue in there..

At least by than most of us (the lucky ones) will have our 5th gens.
