power passenger seat....
Re: power passenger seat....
Manual is fine with me, but give them both a manual lumbar and manual bottom cushion tilt -- 6-way manual with lumbar.
Tilt & telescope steering wheel should ensure it fits everyone.
On a sidenote, make the back seats work well with child seats.

Dual Power Seats = Must have
Nothing says "my car is cheap" quite like ordering power seats and only getting 1 power seat, the driver's one. Or almost as bad, when the passenger seat is power, but has much more limited adjustments than the drivers seat, like only back and forth and backrest angle. Acura and Infiniti used to(and may still) pull this cost cutting move.
It may be silly, but I like my car to not only please me, but impress passengers (and bystanders) as well.

Re: power passenger seat....
Power passenger not necessary. I don't mind the manual seatback with power base. As long as I can get way down in the car, and at the right rake I will be good to go. I always liked the manual thigh adjustment on the 4th Gen TA's.
Re: power passenger seat....
My C5 had a pass. power seat, and it was NEVER used by anyone-- even my girlfriend, who was always happy with the way the thng was when she got in. It's a pointless option in a car like this, IMO-- seriously-- how many PASSENGERS possess the technical familiarity of the multi-directional controls and inclination to screw around with someone elses car's seating all for a 5-minute drive across town to a restaurant or whatever... it's gizmo-riffic techno-tom-foolery... nothing more.
remember, you have to learn exactly what switch does what with electric stuff, etc-- it takes a bit for each car to figure out-- and most of my passengers were not in the car long enough to justify even bothering to learn-- they just left it-- except fot the forward-back and tilt-- all you need there in two manual !
Just make the seats COMFORTABLE and HIGH-QUALITY instead-- you won't need to adjust the poor design out of them then

Comfortable seats ARE important but I consider the WS.6's pretty darn comfortable but it's still slightly annoying that I can't get it into the perfect position. I don't even care about the lumbar and bolsters being adjustable if I could get the seat position perfect.
And I agree with TTopJohn, I don't want the car to seem chintzy or to be uncomfortable for some passengers (even if a majority won't change the seat some will). I've had people ask me why the WS.6 doesn't have a power passenger seat. If I'm going to pay good money for the option I don't see why not to get the full shebang.

wtf? why the **** would you need to adjust the seat in a TWO SEATER car? For the driver, ok, you may be short.. but the passenger???
"Yes, I'd like less leg room, please"
It's the same reason I don't expect the passenger seat to have power. If it DID.. then
1) Moving it forward/back to allow passengers in would be a bitch. those things are slow... Keep in mind i've never seen a driver seat with a rear release **** (which on a manual seat, flings the seat forward and pushes the back forward as well)
2) Drivers need to be able to see over the dash, touch the pedals, etc. Passengers just need to sit there. They DON'T need to see over the dash. So they don't need controls like that.
Also, I believe a good advantage of power seats is that they go back a bit further (I think maybe an inch or so?) I don't remember where I heard this, but I believe someone has said it.
Re: power passenger seat....
I never thought I cared about power seats until I had them.
Many more ways to adjust the seat with power. Much more comfortable.
A drivers power seat is a must, but a passengers power seat is a waste of $ imo.

Re: power passenger seat....
I like my power driver seat but even it is not that important to me. Depends on if I get the convertible or the hard top. Convertible= power driver seat. Coupe= no power. No need for passenger power seats. Don't want it, don't need it and really don't want to pay for it.

Re: power passenger seat....
I think a power passenget seat is just silly. They are slow and it is uneeded. No one ever complained about the seats in my IROC. A power drivers seat is nice though. The thing is, the line has to be drawn somewhere technology wise. If we have 2 power seats, HUDs, DOD, dual zone climate control, navigation systems, on star and so on, the car is going to cost too much. Yeah, most of that stuff would be optional if it were available. But, you know it will be packaged with other desirable stuff like premium sound systems. Also, on the topic of seats. Please, do not force us to have leather. Leather is impractical and uncomfortable, and in cars less than 50k dollars, cheap.
