I actually just answered my own question. I was looking at the subwoofer on one of the dealer accessories sites and under the description it mentioned that the subs come with a 200W amp. I would assume that the standard amp has RCA line out to the sub amp.

I actually crawled around in the back of the car the other day.
I didn't see any RCA jacks or any kind of connector for that matter.
You can see the bottom of the two rear shelf speakers.
Anyway, I also noticed something, or didn't notice; I thought the BA system was suppose to have 9 speakers. I could only find 7.
Unless 2 of the speakers are dual cone and they are counting that.
There's one in the top of the dash.
The two tweeters on the tops of the doors.
The two mids in the lower doors.
And the two on the back shelf.

Ah...they're counting those 6x9 2-ways as two speakers.

Several people asked me that.
3.45 for the manual SS, 3.27 for everything else.

People who ask that will also be interested to learn that all of the 3.27 cars have first gear ratios greater than 4:1. First gear in the TR6060 is 3.01:1.

Miles per 1000 revs is a good way to compare overall gear ratios. In first gear, it's a good indicator of how aggressively a car can get off the line (subject to weight, weight transfer, and traction). For acceleration, lower numbers are better. Food for thought:

4th gen:
A4 2.73: 9.139.
A4 3.23: 7.724.
A4 3.73: 6.689.
M6 3.42: 8.39.
M6 3.73: 7.694.
M6 4.10: 7.00.

Given the general knowledge that 3.73s on an auto, or 4.10s on a manual, are the sweet spot on a street/strip 4th gen, we can conclude that 6.6 - 7.0 is a good place to be.

5th gen:
A 5th gen M6 with stock rear gears gets 8.211.
A 5th gen A6 with stock rear gears gets 6.470.
