They only come with 2.56 and 2.73 gear ratios. The 2.73 is the performance ratio.

I'd agree with that, but I wonder if having a larger pinion in relation to the ring gear is better for efficiency? Might be worth a tenth MPG? But normally a 4 to 1 first gear ratio is not all that strong in a gear box I'm thinking. Guess we'll wait and see.

Glad to see GM's joined the 21st century with their gear ratios. The ratios in my Buick load the crap out of the engine. But whats up with the insanely steep 1st gear, are they encouraging tire spin? :wtf:
