I would really like to have hear if they plan on introducing a Z28. Some ball park pricing would also be appreciated. I would really feel like I got jerked around if I bought a SS the first year and then they brought out a Z28 the next year and it was in my price range.

We've been told over and over and over that pricing is one of the last things to be released before a car goes on sale. So late this year or early 2009 for that.

I think what we are seing is GM trying to get as much to us as they can to appease this massive interest. There is still work to be done and they know that anything they offer up they will be held to and so they don't want to fully commit on anything until they are sure of what they have and will do.

The Camaro puts GM in an odd spot, we've seen this car more than any other pre-production car in history. We've seen it in movies and now soon a TV show. We've seen mules w/o camo and just been shown production V6 models. Normally none of this would have been seen at all until it was all ready to go but GM is appealing to our interests by giving us all they can when they have it.

So for now you're not being "jerked" around at all. You can't buy an SS or Z28 yet and by the time you can I think you may know enough to make your decision easier.
