I don' think it's good that pics were shown...But, what's worse is that they are still out on the net...GM should put out a notice of some sort to tell people to take them off internet sites....

 

What about those people who saved those pics onto their hard drives? Should GM now come after them also?

How ironic you make that statement since someone screamed bomb on a plane today and was shot killed.

 

I'm not saying that GM should go after anyone...I'm just saying that they should put out something requesting that people take the pics down and that mags don't run any article until after Jan 9th...Just something for the enthusiast sites that would basically say that if you have any repsect for the hard work put in by guys like Scott that you should take the pics down...That's all

It's just that Scott was upset about the pics being shown...If not for that I'd be all for them being let out...Honestly I don't think that GM has anything to worry from Ford or Dodge....

 

I can understand Scott being upset. but Its not his fault. and we've been waiting a long time for this and anytime Lutz Mentions "camaro" it gets like 10 pages just for a blurb.

I can also understand the problems this could cause for GM. I just read some of the thread over at LS1tech. They were being pretty ignorant.

 

Scott's been really good to ALL the F-body enthusiasts. It's really a small sacrifice to make to wait a few more weeks. This board has also been great. That's why when an admin or Scott make a request not to show or distrubute the pics, folks here take it seriously. Besides, it's not like nobody will ever see them again. We all will.

GM goes through all kinds of trouble to keep designs under wrap until the last moment. I guess I don't understand why some folks take it personally. Maybe, just maybe they have a reason for waiting?? If ya think you know it all, I'm sure you that you're probably missing something.

 

I'm sure Chrysler is going over those pics with a fine tooth comb.

 

Problem is, I would have just thought "oh hey another Camaro Rendering" but when I heard they were pulled and GM was upset. then it makes me think they are real.

am I alone on this?

Edit: once they are out, its all over. Only thing GM could have done was #1 Deny, #2 ask for feedback on the "coupe"

 

I can't believe there are people acting holier than thou over this.

I still have my curiousity as to whether this was done intentionally or not. After all, it was emailed confidenially to the biggest F-body forum on the web, and then taken down after a couple hours.

I thank Scott for not going off the deep end, and respect him for taking our opinions. I'm in love the concept each and every time I see it.

 

I'm pretty ticked that I missed this also. When did this happen. Oh well what is the date for the release of the official pics. How long will it be after the unveiling before we get some pics.
