It's like two kids describing their dads to each other when neither has seen the other kids dad... talking about who's dad could kick who's ***, who's stronger, who drives a cooler car, etc, etc... but the day they finally meet, neither kid will say a word about what they've spent the last 2 years talking about because they don't want dad to hear.

Exactly. I think everyone is in some kind of shock.

I think we were "cheated" though ..... like finding your wife in bed with another guy ..... how do you really "talk" about that after the fact?

This very thread and ones like it to me, generate buzz. I for one won't be going out to find any pics that may have leaked but my excitement and anticipation has been heightened! Something big is coming and the train is picking up speed

Pretty much how i feel. Ill admit when i hear about them i did go searching with a voice in the back of my mind saying wait for the unveiling, but i couldnt help it. I must say that it is one heck of cool looking car

I'm now convinced that the next gen GTO will look similiar to the Camaro concept. Only because the "camaro" concept reminded me alot of the 99 GTO Concept, especially the roofline and rear 1/4 panels.

Maybe GM will also show the next GTO at NAIAS. I heard that it would along with a Sunfire replacement. But who knows anymore of what's really going on at GM.

I don't know why GM would be going crazy trying to get all these pics taken off the internet if they didn't at least resemble the car that will be shown.

just because they may or maynot resmble the concept... they possibly have styling cues that may be present in refresh version of the car... that is an expensive clay car... why waste the money

With respects to Scott, and excepting the owner of the forum (of course), why does anybody need to give the "ok" to talk about something?

Re: I find it extremely funny

Legal issues say you can't discuss a picture you saw on the internet? Ok.

And screaming "bomb" on a plane is hardly relevant, IMO.

how is it hardly relitive... the reason you cant say bomb on a plane is that you possibly can injur someone, the reproccusions of the statement can injur someone...

same as here... the more we talk about what we saw, the more GM might be pissed off and want to legally charge the adminstration of LS1Tech.com of theft and vandilism. These pictures theft is likely to cost GM a lot of money, so... how is bomb not relevent... if Jason says dont talk about it, if Scott says not to talk about it, its for the best intrest of GM and fellow enthusiasts...

Going back to the first post in this thread. Nobody was "scared" to talk about it, fact is until about 2 hours ago every thread on the topic posted was deleted PROMPTLY by moderators/admins.

So its sort of like putting your hand on a hot stove...after a few posts got deleted and the Announcement went up about it then we all kind of got the picture that it was taboo here.

Newbie.....forget it, it's not relative in my eyes. If it is in yours, ok.

Chris...Ok. And as I stated in my first post, if that is the decision of those that run the site, then I'll respect it (agree or not).
