Here's a weight poll for you guys.
Take a photo of two 4th gens side by side with that same camera lens and angle, and the closer one is going to look huge just like the Challenger does.
Not saying the Challenger isn't bigger or heavier, but there is a significant amount of distortion in that image.
Besides, the weight added by steel bars in the doors, body-stiffening, side curtain airbags, etc, isn't visually evident from the outside of the car. Photos don't really tell us anything about weight.

That's why I added the perspective lines.....it's obvious the Challenger dwarfs the 4th gen.....

My biggest objection though to the Challenger, is its extreme similarity to the original. It was the same reason I wasn't a big fan of the Ford GT.
Let's use numbers then....
Fourth Generation Camaro

Overall length, in.: 193.2 (4.5 in. shorter)
Width, in.: 74.1 (1.6 in. narrower)
Height, in.: 51.3 (5.7 in. lower)
Weight, lbs.: 3436/3521 (V6/Z-28) (619 lbs. lighter)
Dodge Challenger
Wheelbase, in.: 116.0
Overall Length, in.: 197.7
Overall Width, in.: 75.7
Overall Height, in.: 57.0
Curb Weight, estimated, lbs.: 4140

Using the top and bottom of the wall lines to establish a vanishing point, they are slightly off... but not by much.
That said, the Challenger appears to be parked slightly ahead of the Camaro, thus distorting the perspective even more than it would be had their noses been even.

Oh, and ask Charlie how small the rear seat room is....Here, do your own research next time....
