I have really considered another trip to Detroit to see it again.

It is SO WORTH THE TRIP!

 

I got thinking....are they going to give me a hard time crossing into Canada and back? I was told you were not required to have a passport until 2008. If they are going to give me a hard time I'll just stay in the states.

I wouldn't risk it. It'd suck to get stuck in Canada on the way there..

 

I'm heading up tonight for the show tomorrow. It's only about a 3.5-4 hr drive from Cincinnati. This'll be my fifth year in a row.

 

I've been to Auto Shows in St. Louis, but this'll be my first time at the big show in Detroit. I was wondering if they have events and unveilings planned during the day or are the cars just sitting around to view like they are here? I was just curious if I'm gonna miss anything if I'm not there right at 8 in the morning.

Just got here about an hour ago. Made the 9 hour trip from Southern Illinois. A little bit of adive to anyone thinking of coming late: Do not stay at the Days Inn on Jefferson Ave. My girlfriend and I made reservations online not knowing that it was being renovated. Well we get there and it was a complete disaster. The place just seemed like a robbery/murder waiting to happen. We left and am now staying at the Comfort Inn on Jefferson Ave. I can't wait til tomorrow.

 

Ahh, we're staying at the Marriot right in the GM Heritage center, so we're good

 

I'll be there Saturday, I hope its not too crazy.
