Well after seeing pictures of the camaro concept a buddy and I have decided to make the 10+ hour trip to Detroit. Can't wait to see this thing in person....I plan on taking tons of pictures. Anyone from here going to be there on Saturday?

Since we'll be staying right downtown (marriott) Saturday night are there any decent bars to go to? Can't wait!

I'm thinking of possibly driving the 11+ hours (I'm coming from Philly) and going to see it. Which hotel are you staying at? Searching Marriots site gives me a whole bunch of hotels. Do you know which one is the closest?

Nice man. Where are you guys leaving from? I'm actually not heading out until tonight around 9-10pm.

Looking at that hotel, it's only about a hundred bucks a night with my Lockheed discount. Reserved !

 

I'm also going to stop at the Air Force museum in Dayton, Ohio on the way back on Monday.

We are heading out from the Hartford, CT area. We're guessing maybe 11hrs or so...no really sure. I think we'll end up going up through Canada and coming back down.

Well I'll probably sleep once I get there, but Saturday night I'll be around if you guys want to meet up somewhere. My girlfriend will be with me and we're both over 21 (my brothers will be with me too, but they're under 21 so they'll just stay in the room).

 

Do you know if any electronics are banned in the place? I was gonna take in my digital camera, my video camera and definitely my pda (and obvious cell phone).

Since we're going out there, do any of you want any specific shots of the Camaro that we haven't seen yet?

 

Enjoy the show guys, but be patient. I've gone to NAIAS for the last 5 or 6 years straight, and if you have to go on a Saturday, it will be PACKED. You'll get to see the cars you want, but you will have to squeeze your way past people in some areas.

It is a safe bet that the Camaro concept will be a rather popular gathering point for people.

Travel safe, have fun, and just remember that their will be crowds so be patient.

I'll be heading up from Florida tonight... of course I am flying, not driving. Cool thing is my brother lives up there so I don't have to worry about a hotel. I can't wait to see the concept in person!
