Did Chevy ever sort out the vendor problems with the Head-Up Display? Any idea when it will appear, and as an option or standard on some trim-level?

 

Last we heard was it would be available as a std option on the 2SS and 2LT in December.

 

Has anyone heard whether it will also be available a la carte for 1LT/1SS models?

 

Hate to drag a topic back from the brink of the abyss, but what's the update here? Spoke with my local dealer who's usually quite good with stuff, and he said he hadn't heard anything but rumors regarding HUD systems in the Camaro as of last week. Can anyone confirm or deny that they will exist? I'm willing to hold off on my order until available, if that'll be... sometime soon.

 

Yes, Head Up Display is now STANDARD on 2011 Camaro 2LT and 2SS models.

 

Anybody know if it has the feature to work like a shift light?

 

on the 2002 Z06 it had the word SHIFT when you drove it hard.... so it could be..
