GM Fills In Info on Zeta Cars (Camaro, G8, Impala, etc.)
Bad move for Chevy to benchmark the Mustang now. I caution GM as a whole, DO NOT bench mark the current Mustang, or any car currently on the market because by the time we see the car thats in development now, it will be 4 years till we see it.
I would be very upset to see by 2009, the Camaro to have less hp then a V6 Camry.

Yeah, two totally different cars / markets. 2-door sports coupe vs. 4-door family sedan. Even with less HP, the Camaro would still be a better "performing" car than a Camry. And besides, they would never be compared head-to-head, and no buyer interested in one would consider the other.

Don't be surprised to see the RWD Impala, Caddillac,Buick, Pontiac G8 Join the Oshawa Flex . HOME of the Camaro. The Convertible will be released seven months after the hardtop.The last Impala to roll off Plant #2 is Nov 30/07. CONVERTION to the Flex assembly is 10 months. $740 Million will be spent to convert the Plant to a state of the art flexible manufacturing facility. GMS is underway throught the plant.
