Finally saw and drove a Camaro

Well, I've tried seeing the camaro in person at a few shows before but it never worked out.

My wife desided to surprise me during my R&R from Iraq and rented a Camaro for us to use. I love it. It is a 1LT with a sunroof in Cyber Gray and it was a great treat for me since we won't be buying one until I redeploy and I'm also holding out for a vert. Driving it was better than I expected. Very smooth and plenty of power. I also liked the tapshift but not enough to change my mind about getting the M6 in mine.

I just wanted to share and give some public praise to my wife.

nice surprised and well deserved. think i should rent one as well becuz trying to test drive one from a dealer around here isnt going to happen. tell me does it seem like your in the driver compartment of a tank? cuz when i first sat in one, thats the impression i got even though ive never been in one, then i later read an article and the person who wrote it also said "sitting in one would be most familiar to driver of an m1 Abrams tank, and thats what i was thinking exactly.

No, I don't think it felt like a tank. It was very nice. My wife loved how much more room she had on the passenger side and the kids were said the back was better than my 94 too. I thought everything was laidout well. The controls for the driver are all located in a good place and the controls that the passenger might use too (radio, ac) were in good position and easy to use.
