Re: Convertible poll

I hope the interior is compairable with the GTO and a soft top option wouldnt be bad. Although I doubt it will be offered.

Re: Convertible poll

The interior is the one thing that worries me about the potential Camaro. I love the look of the car from the outside. The interior, however, was a little too retro and I'd much rather have a modern, well thought out interior, like the GTO. The unfortunate part is the Camaro interior probably won't be designed in Australia, like the GTO...

Re: Convertible poll

Soft Top please!!!!! This is an American Muscle car Icon like the Mustang and only a soft top is the right choice. Leave the heavy, complicated aluminum top's to the luxury coupes. BTW a nice canvas material top would be great.

Re: Convertible poll

The more I think about it, the more I believe that if Ford is going to offer a Mustang GT-500 convertible, the General is going to need to step up to the plate and offer covertibles across the board for Camaro. Than means V6, mid V8, top V8 and SUPER V8 all get a convertible option.

Good point, although a hard top only high hp corner hugging Z/28 would be a pretty cool exclusive vehicle.

However from a sales standpoint, it makes sense to offer it across the board

Re: Convertible poll

A solid, quality soft top would be perfect for the car. A hardtop converible would be cool, but add too much cost and complexity, not to mention weight to the vehicle. A glass rear window is a must, plastic rear windows are to me, the height of cutting corners.

Re: Convertible poll

I say a softtop, with a window with defogger/defroster.Just make the window bigger or something so you can see what's behind you as you back up. That's alittle peev I have with my 4th gen vert.
