Christmas come early!!!
easiest way to tell the difference between a 67 and 69 is the front and rear fenders.... the 67 and 68 camaro had wore the same basic sheetmetal.... the 69 had restyled front quaters, door, and rear quaters....
I always start with the vent glass.
If it has it, its a 67. If it doesnt, then go to the parking lights and see if theyre in the bumper or grille.. or if its from the side view, the flare of the fenders and quarters.

ahh... I knew headlights weren't the same...I just assumed the sidemarkers were there somewhere and I couldn't see them because the car is black and just thought that the comparison shots would be appropriately with a '69. As for styling and curves? I have no excuse except I looked over it too quickly and the pictures are kinda small (well at 2560x1600 screen resolution they are)

Yeah, the black car is a '67......I never intended for it to be confused with being a '69. At the time I got it, there weren't any '68 R/Cs available. The only reason it's in the pictures at all is because it's the same scale....all of my '68 die-casts are either 1:64 or 1:24. I just thought it would be nice to show a first gen with the concept.
Here are some of my Christmas gifts to myself.

There's also about 5 more posters to be framed, another red and silver 1/18th diecast, about 6 Hotwheels, another AMT model....hmmmm, added up, I could have had a nice down payment on the real thing!
