Camaro SS sedan
A successful sedan
Just keep it coming. I was really intent on getting a new G8 GXP within a couple years, looks like that will not be happening.
This car as many probably know is already badged as a Chevrolet Lumina SS for the M.E. market. Check out this gallery.
At any rate, I definitely don't think a sedan should wear the Camaro name. There are many other good possibilities. Leaving it unchanged as a Lumina SS is possible, also Chevrolet Commodore seems to fit (and has been used in the South Africa market in the 70s from what I've read.)

Oh, and for all of the other posts above regarding this. If the where to keep this model car (which according to ChrisL they're not) then here is a crazy idea, why not think of a completely new name for the car! Why does every new car that comes out have to named that of a car from the past? I know people will say because of the success of that brand name in the past will help sell them now. Ok, that is true for cars that are iconic as long as they know they got the style correct (i.e. Camaro, Thunderbird, Challenger). Though it can really kill a cars appeal to that old brand name if the are just off a little (i.e. GTO) or are trying something completely new.
last year before we saw the actuall spy shots of the camaro, there was that test mule running around that looked liek that but it had chevy emblems on it. everyone thought it was going to be a lumina. i wouldl iek to see this chassis come back as a new impala. i think it would help the impala line alot if it returned to rwd.
Actually, Impala was a slightly upscale Bel Air. Impala was always top of the line from its introduction in 1958.
or you could just use an existing name like the impala and not spend more money than you need to. changing a name or bringing a new name in play is alot more money into advertising and getting the car out there and recognized. if they were to use an existing name, there is no name changing and people know about the impala already. you dont need to sell them on the car. the car sells itself. its all about marketing.
