That picture, in white, poorly lit , washes out most of the discernable lines and angles, but even in the camo shots you can see they're still there.

And tho I think some of the angles aren't as "sharp", "folded" or "crisp", the IMPACT is still there!

Actually, it looks more "refined", classier, and more expensive...To Me.

And like all Concepts, they usually overstate features to get feedback, refine and streamline them; kinda bridges the gap between the present and future and helps avoid too much future shock.

Although "we" would probably have bought the Concept(exterior) if produced, I don't think it had the "mass appeal" the production car will have.

Either way, no way we can form an good judgement from this picture...but I like what I see so far!

Could be the base V6 model as the black door handles/side mirrors usually indicate a lower spec. Either that or a test mule.

You cannot draw accurate conclusions about the 'real deal' no matter how many times you look at the pic. It's a well conceived teaser pic that's designed to garnish interest in the returning nameplate.

Having said that, it still looks good even with the covers on!

Its a test mule. I wouldnt get all bent out of shape due to colors of the car now...its not like this was taken at a Chevy dealer around the corner.

I am so in love with this car. Really I am. I cannot explain how excited I will be to sit in one in a year or so from now. The best 25th birthday present a man could have...the best.
I look foward to the final product...and I hope you show it in NYC!! PLEASE SCOTT, PLEAAAAAAAAASE!!!

Whether this "spy" picture is horrible or not, the point is people are salivating over it and this intern is good news to GM as people's intrest is still highly peaked and this new picture is like adding more fuel to an already abundant flame. Even if not all the comments are positive ,it's still bringing in publicity none the less. GM say's someone took this with a Camera phone etc... Maybe someone did obviously within GM and they're playing it off like this wasn't a planned leak, when it might of been.

Im sure by the time the NAIAS 2008 comes to town, we'll see the front and rear, if not the interior. Competition always trying to one leg up each other only makes the final product that much better by the time it's in customers hands.

I understand Scott's frustration with this shot getting out. It shows the car in the most unflattering of settings and while most people seem to still be drooling over it, there will be those that'll form concrete opinions already off of a poorly shot pic.

But it does look like the production body has kept the concept's lines which is great. The camo'd test cars show off more of the body lines and they all seem to still be there. I also like the fact the roof lines made it as well.

All in all, while it sucks that white car pic made it out, I'm excited to see the progress of the car seems to be going well and it still looks great even under all the camouflage

Uh, no. That was my opinion. Glad to see others view it the same way in that case

Bottom line is a unfinished sculpture is a large stone when a finished sculpture is a work of art.

The short of it is don't jusdge it till it is finished!

+1 especially when it's a white car with black bras on the front and back!

I know the side body sculpting is still there, it just LOOKS watered down. And that was my favorite part of the car. It would be like putting A cups on Jessica Simpson.

EXACTLY. And people wonder why leaked pictures like this are a bad thing.

Oh I know it's a bad thing. Listen to the disenchantment of real Camaro fans. I'll still buy one, I'm just not happy. But I'll reserve final judgement until I see a REAL photo or better yet, see the Produciton Camaro in person.

Maybe if GM released their own pics we wouldn't have a problem with low quality spy shots.

Oh wait we need to keep the production car secret because...
It looks 90% like the concept, what exactly are you trying to hide?

It's like OMG everyone on the camaro boards is buzzing about a leaked shot and it's creating all kinds of free publicity. OMG we must stop it!
All publicity is bad. Lets not say a word about the car, and hide all pics.
Then one night we will secretly stick them out on car lots and hope no one notices.

Of all the spy shots released, the c6, the new mustang, the new charger, the new camaro, what exactly bad has happened from it?
