Ah, I see (and the game continues). You now want to be coy about letting people know whether or not you know something, so you're not going to say whether or not you know or not.

It's really a quite bright idea...you get to look like you're important and/or know what you're talking about without ever having to produce any evidence that you really are important and/or know what you're talking about. Sort of a reverse catch-22, in that no matter what happens, you can say you knew it, and nobody can prove you wrong.
