Seems to me that Brembo needs to re-engineer their calipers for 2011.

In the grand scheme of things, its a minor issue but it shows GM rushed the product to market. This certainly should have and probably did show up in testing, but GM decided to release the car anyway instead of getting it fixed first. I can't say I blame them though. People were dying to get their hands on this car and the design was in danger of getting stale.

That being said, little stupid/ugly quality issues like this can give a car a reputation and come back to haunt sales down the road. Hopefully that wouln't happen and atleat GM addressed it. Brembo CERTAINLY needs to redesign the calipers for 2011 for the sake of their own reputation.

great/////lets redesign for 2011...what about owners of cars who have spent large dollars on a purchase NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!! Me for example.....complete lack of interest from GM and I went right to engineering in Oshawa and Brembo in the USA....
What a joke....This Caliper issue has got me so wired as I hate the way they look and cant believe that Brembo cobbled together this mess !!!
SHAME on you Brembo....
My SS is a fabulous car....my brakes from Brembo with this wheel weight stuck on them are a pure GM major mis-step and GM should step up and FIX ALL THE 2010 SS's with a proper fix NOW !!!
