Re: Baldwin Motion 5th Gen

I didn't see it... Seriously, I LOVE baldwin motion Camaros! The early 70's phase III cars are my favorite of all time but I cannot afford them either.

If they do this and it's manageable... I will buy a new motion Camaro!

Hemmings Muscle Machines did a feature on Joel Rosen a few months ago, most excellent read.

Re: Baldwin Motion 5th Gen

seeing as that rendering is a Kris Horton job, Kris want to do a quick rendering of what the 5th gen would looke like with T-Tops? and/or any other tops youd feel like doing (sunroof, targa, convertible, etc.)

No B-pillars, no t-tops. Let it rest.

Re: Baldwin Motion 5th Gen

So...what if GM made something more reasonably priced with the performance of a heavily modded car?

Re: Baldwin Motion 5th Gen

GM's Director of design is Ed Welburn, NOT Tom Peters.

Ed Welburn's Camaro is yellow with black stripes.

Bob Boniface heads GM's Advanced Design Studio, and with "Studio X" is the team that did the Camaro.

Camaro's chief designer is Sangyup Lee.

Tom Peters is director for GM's RWD & performance car production studio. In short, he's the guy who get's the metal to production.

No slam or disrespect for Tom Peters, but the way the article made it seem like Tom Peters created the new Camaro is like saying that Pensylvania's governor is really the President and running policy.

Because the writer couldn't even get these very basic, easy to find facts straight (and they're supposed to know this), I'm not very inclined to put much stock in the rest of the story.

Re: Baldwin Motion 5th Gen

On the history page it mentions some Motion IROCS. This is the first I've heard of this. Anyone got any information?

Oh and I hope they make a 5th gen.

I agree TOTALLY!!! I hope that the success of the concept encourages the powers that be at GM that they should not screw with a great thing!! THIS car does not need a t-top and it SURE does not need a B-pillar.
