WOW, that v6 ES version is real nice. Is it an RS ? I am just loving the hockey stripes. Give your mom our best and congrats.

Has she said anything about the lack of "rumble" since it is a V6? (her 02 was an SS right?)

nope, ES 1 was also a 6.

Ditto man +1 !!. If my mom were still alive she definitely would have bought one. Her last car was a beautiful 85 Supra.
As it is she rides along in my new SS every time I turn the starter....
The attention....well...it seems to be getting crazier as summer goes on....
Darn shoulda bought a 10 mustang......hahahahahahaha.....
Such an amazing product....and you have an amazing mother.

Very nice choice. Your mother at 84 is younger at heart than mine at 51. Could never see my mother in a camaro...NEVER.
