Back seat pics....
Well, you "can" access it on the driver's side from the Challenger, you just have to wait for the power seat to slide all the way to the forward position and then manually power it back and find your "spot" since the seat won't automatically go back into the place that it was.
Most two door cars traditionally when you pull the handle to release the seatback, the seatback moves forward and the bottom cushion slides forward on its track to its frontmost position at the same time. Your passenger then gets in and as you sit in the seat it slides back to its original position and you're off.
That's the way it is on the passenger side of my Cobalt.
However, when you pull the handle on the driver's side, the seatback flips forward, but the cushion doesn't move, you then need to reach around to the adjuster under the front seat and then slide the seat forward manually on its tracks. The passenger can then get in back. You then need to manually slide the seat back on its tracks (kind of close to where it was) and push the seatback into the upright position. But neither the cushion nor the seatback return to where they were. You then need to adjust the relationship of the seat to the wheel of the pedals and manually adjust the rake of the seatback to get it back to where you like it.
It's not about being "lazy" its that you can have someone go around to the passenger side of the car and they'll be in and you'll be on the road before you even get them in the back on the driver's side. It may not seem like much, but it's a pain.
And when you have to do all the above and stand there waiting for a power seat to travel as you do in the Challenger, it's even worse. Accessible, yes. Practical, no.
