Best selling coupe in the country and currently the only entry in the pony car market does not pose a threat to Camaro sales??? The only car GM is even worried about competeing with would be that very mustang

What I meant to say was, the Mustang isn't a worthy competitor to the Camaro because the Camaro is/would be better than the pony car.

Whoops, there goes another big IMHO. Okay, I'll stop stirring the pot now.

Another person needing educating I see.

Mustang is setting the pace my friend. Camaro is coming out to compete with it. If it wasn't for Mustang's huge success, we wouldn't be talking about the next Camaro. Mustang is the biggest selling coupe by a large margin.

Current Mustang doesn't pose any competition?

Yeah, right!

BTW: There's no "IF" involved here. Big or otherwise.

Re: Article from Forbes.com on Camaro & Challenger

this guy has one major problem with his logic. regarding "stylish mass-market sedans" to compete with the Camry and Accord - there's already the Grand Prix and Impala, both of which, i think, are attractive cars with power to boot. The last thing GM needs is a bland cookie-cutter Camry clone. If I wanted to go to sleep, I'd lay down in my bed. I want to be excited when I drive my car.
