HID Problem

Ok, so I have a non-rs LT1 and just purchased a single beam hid conversion kit ( http://www.vvme.com/12v-5055w-h13-hi...cPath=44_45_29 )

It didn't come with a harness type connector to connect the light to the car, instead it just has the two wires with crimp on pins so i connected it that way, the problem is when i turn the light on, the lights just turn on for about a second or two then dim out and shut off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried that, they wanted me to ship it back, but its based out of hong kong and would be more expensive to ship back then buy new ones, but if it turns on for a second doesn't that mean the bulb is working?

Sounds like the system is either bad or you do not have it hooked up correctly. I purchased a HID conversion system from Ebay for my Traverse that came with the digital balists and just plugged right into the wiring harness from the headlilghts. They work awesome and they were from a US seller.

If they are defective, they need to cover the cost to ship them back.

I am always wary or buying anything direct from China.

Check and double check your wiring. If there is any doubt at all, have a pro look at it.
