I'm not sure what everyone is talking about... I'm 6'1 and 250, and I fit in the back seat of my third gen just fine... :/

My girlfriend loved the experience in the backseat. Now I just gotta get her footprints out of the headliner!

the backseats are for insurance purposes really, else you'd be paying vette / sports car insurance for it... oh and the occasional 3rd rider

Then why is it I can insure a vette cheaper than a Camaro? My Mustang is higher than any of them.

At 71" I can sit in the back of my 94 and not hit my head on the roof. I should sit in the back of a GTO, those back seats actually look spacious, too bad there isn't a fast way to move the seat forward to get in and out.

I remember sitting in my friends 93 z28, and I don't recall having any problems. I'm also 5'6...Plus I really am not going to care about backseat space anyway because I'll be in the drivers seat all the time

I'm interested to see how the '10 Camaro's backseats stack up to other sport coupes. My 96 is fairly comfortable, I was ok in the back of fox body stangs as well as sn95's, G35 was fine, and I thought the GTO was fairly decent on room too. I'm 5'10" and just fine in these backseats but maybe unlike most people here, getting into the backseat of a sport coupe is exactly what I expect it to be and I don't become flustered that these cars don't have DTS-like rear seat room. Even with this said, the current Mustang and Camaro are still way too large!
