new engine for the new camaro

ordered a new LS3 block and a 418ci stroker rotating assy and a set of cnc ported L92/LS3 heads to build a new engine and have it ready to drop in when my L99 auto camaro comes in.

ill post up some pics when they show up

what if the rear or transmission can't take all that abuse?

i have a friend with the A6 transmission in his C6 that took a crap on him on his cam only vette, i'm sure the added weight in the camaro will not help.

easy, then you build it stronger!,, i had no problem building the 4l60e and rear end in my 94 camaro to go 10's, and the new camaro trans / drivetrain will be a better starting point than the drivetrain in the 94 camaro

on your 94 what kind of mpg were you getting with all your mods and it was your daily driver? how much did you spend a week on gas at what price per gal.

i was still getting almost 20mpg hwy with the 383 lt4 engine, and my s-10 with a carb still got upper teens for mileage.

its all in the tune,

lol - Never saw a case of modding a Pre-Production car, this is a first for me but I'm definately interested...

Funny enough, 400 HP stock is more than enough for me. I'm just going to do breather mods, Intake / Exhaust...
