1964 chevelle SS

The GOOD:Its a true SS with a 327. (327 was the top option that year) Runs, but idles high at the moment. 350 trans with a shift kit. headers, flowmasters, edelbrock air-gap intake, fresh holley carb. i believe it has 3:73 gears. Floors, frame, and trunk are extremely solid. all glass is intact. new door panels, carpet, back seat, have front seat buns and frames, just need seat covers. Theres a set of GTO seats in it now. tons of extra parts. (Ive spent almost 2 G's on parts for this thing over the years) have most, if not all chrome. (some duplicates) basically, almost everything is there to complete this car. Some suspension work has been done, and the back of the car sits up in the back. (looks mean!)

The BAD: this car needs a body man to make it pretty again. The trunk lid is rotted out on the lip, but an extra trunk lid that is solid will come with the car. The car is sanded down to bare metal in places and there is bondo in the quarters. To be a show car, the quarters would have to be replaced. To have a nice driver, somebody would have to put in some bondo work. fenders, doors, roof, etc, all appear to be pretty solid. All in all, this car has lots of potential, but I have too many projects and I dont have the time to finish it how it deserves to be finished.

Id like $4500 for the car, and that is slighly negotiable. have a set of craiger SS wheels that could go with the car for a few bucks more. I would consider trading it for a newer full size pickup truck, or anything fast of equal value. (Z-28, trans am, GT mustang, etc.) Call matt at 219-201-0141 between 6 and 11 PM on weekdays, or anytime on weekends. you can also reply to this ad.

any more pics of the chevelle? I may be interested in it if the rest of the car is solid and it runs real well. I have a 97 Trans Am I would like to use as a trade. Good clean car.
