Wink Bolt-on New Best 11/4

Well guys I ran a new best Sunday w/bolt-ons. I was still spinning a little and the guys I was with said when I did the burnouts only one tire was spinning I think the posi is going.
Stock weight all options w/ 275-45-17 Nittos

Anyway here it is :
60'____1.7
1/8____8.1_@_85.3MPH
1/4____12.86_@_105.2

Also backed it up with 2 more 12.8's

I guess its time to work on the suspension(stock now)

Nice Times. I myself am looking for that first 12 second pass with bolt-ons. Im heading out to the track Wednesday night and think I may get close. See sig for surrent times.
On Saturday I took the car to the Dyno and hooked up the WideBand and found out my car was running very lean. Used the LT1 Edit and I think I may get that .21 E.T. Dropped off that I need.

Keep up the good work for the Bolt -On guys. Keep us posted on how your suspension mods go. Mine is stock for the time being myself.

Those are nice times Rbain. I went out Friday nite and went 12.37@108 but my tranny is slipping bad on the 2-3 shift so I feel your pain. I am on the stock posi so I know that's coming to. But what can I say it's Dragracing.

Good times Bain. Looks like I have to play catch up.

I dont think my car will run that fast. Maybe we can all go to the track this Saturday. I need to get my car fixed before I can take it.

Thanks guys.
I'm trying to catch up with Steve(SAR2K) man his car is flying! I am getting alot of wheel hop and running rich. About time for a dyno tune at Thunder Racing I want it to run what it does at the track on the street(so no weight reduction or comfort compromises)

Thumbs up

Congrats on the 12's bud!!! As for that wheel hop... BMR LCA relocation brackets are the cure. I had the hop BAD at E-Town after bumping the converter up. I put on a set of the bolt-on brackets and since then it's just a matter of track prep as to if I spin... no hop. My best 60' to date with them is 1.56 on BFG's
But when you do the install... don't do it underwater like your Opti install!!! Next time your at Thunder let me know.

Congrats! That's great to hear!

Hopefully I can boost my ET's on all my cars this year, 2002 was definitely not my year.

BTW: Do the LCA Relocation brackets really help that much?!?

I have insane wheel hope w/BFG Drags on the T56 car.

Thanx!

The BMR LCA relocation brackets will eliminate the wheel hop. Well worth the $$$.

Do they only work with adjustable Lower Control Arms, or can I slap on a set of Hotchkis LCA's, for instance and be done with it?

Thanks!
