Thumbs up New best..... inching closer to 11's with Bolt-Ons!!!

Well last night was as close as you can get to perfect race conditions here in south Louisiana or anywhere.
The I got six runs in last night and set new best in all areas... 60': 1.55, ET: 12.07, MPH: 110.15.
For the most part I could care less about the tree since I was all about ET last night, I think all my passes except one was a redlight LOL.
the 12.07 run breaks down like this:
RT: .383
60': 1.564
330: 4.822
1/8: 7.600
MPH: 87.70
1000: 10.024
1/4: 12.073
MPH: 110.15

I was able to dead hook on two passed, good hook on three others and only spun once to 1.701.
ET's for the night 12.13, 12.07, 12.10, 12.10, 12.28, & 12.09
MPH stayed in the mid to upper 109 and ran dead on 110.15 twice on the .07 & .09 runs.
Needless to say I'm VERY happy... though the stock rear does not sound too good after the beating last night.
Anyway I still have a cutout to install and neet to get some ET Streets to drop some serious rotating weight (40 lbs) off the drive train.
All runs were through the air filter and full exhaust.
Still all bolt-ons & free mods.
I will not have a chance to run again till after the first of the year so I should have the cutout in & ET Streets by then... just hope the weather will be as good. On the 12.07 pass the DA was -1727. Yes the air was that good last night.
Also congrats to Frank95Z for his AWESOME cam & bolt-on runs last night... 11.5 is insane!!!
Also we almost had the first 10 second M6 N/A 355 LT1 last night... Tim Herrington (95 Formula) cut a 1.49 60' (M6 mind you ) and broke his yoke before the 1/8 mile and coasted through the 1/4 well into the 11's at 76 MPH!!! Better luck next time Tim!!!
Later folks!!!
Steve...

Ken you should have been here last night. I ran 11.53 115.53 air was great and track was hooking. And somone mentioned track closing. NPR has its last race on Dec. 14 and doesn't open till Jan.8. But State Capital runs on Dec.20. Forget freshing up in the off season. Frank95z

Stephen, the last date for the year in the immediate Baton Rouge area is Dec 20th. I think Gulfport MS. & Hattiesburg, MS. (both only 2 hrs from BR) run year round. Also No Problem Raceway (where I ran last night) re-opens Jan 8th. January is usually our coldest month here. If you want to make a road trip let me know, we've got a place for ya... bring your own driveshaft, LOL. A night at NPR in the cold is well worth the trip... the place hooks great. The track is less than 2 years old. www.noproblemraceway.com
Dirk what you have planned for that TA of yours???
Ken I'll do my best to hit the 11's so you'll have an excuse to come back down, LOL.

Steve, plans are for a 355,11.5:1 or so,Solid roller,TEA or Advanced Induction Heads. Lunati rods,Ross or JE pistons, and stepping up to a 200+ shot. Also gonna try to swing a tubular K member.

Will probably dial new combo in with the 150,then go from there, might do a direct port andsee what will really happen.

SAR2K!!! Very nice times. How the hell you getting those speeds without a cam? That is very impressive. Is your race weight with you in it? Congrats again. Very Awsome. Has anyone to your knowledge have a 11 second all bolt on pass on a LT1 F-Body?

Lightbulb 110.15

I credit the high trap speed to a combo of two things, Ram-Air & 1.7 rockers. I'm getting .510 int & .521 exh out of a stock cam.
the COLD air helps too, LOL.

That is awesome. If you would have taken a leak before your run that would have been an 11.

I just noticed you have 1.7 rockers, do you have springs on it?
