Using NXT

Orded some NXT and is should be here in 24hrs. Do I still need to use the three step or can I just go, step 1, swirl remover, NXT?

Would it help the shine to last longer if I went step three last or leave the NXT as the final coat???
Thanks
-Freak

NXT and any other step you have that is a cleaner wax or abrasive as NXT is both, will remove the previous layer of whatever you have applied to the surface.............

Just a little heads up to everybody. I couldn't find the damn NXT spray anywhere. (everybody was sold out). Believe it or not, the local K-Mart had it. (And cheaper then everywhere else)

The paint must be in excellant condition to start off with. The cleaning agents in NXT are minimal (compared to Gold Class and others). I hadn't waxed my car in 6 months so I went a little crazy, used in this order (all Products Mequiers)

Paint cleaner
polish
gold class

found out about nxt the following week
used NXT
used the NXT Booster wax 3 days later

to some it up in 1 word

WOW

Well the condition of my paint is crap (faded and tons of spider webs) I tried NXT on its on on my trunk lid and I could see its potential. I plan on giving the car a heavy buffing this weekend and paint cleaning then trying it again.

Should I use step one, scratch remover, then buff with step two and then go NXT??

NXT and Gold Class have the same cleaners and abrasives, the NXT has double the oils of Gold Class, so it will shine more than Gold Class. Both of these products are cleaner waxes.

Just a little note. I tested Gold Class, NXt, and others in a side by side comparsion on my Nisson ALtima that has been sitting in front of my house for the last 6 months. Its Black and severly oxidized, Gold class did a much better job on the oxidation then NXT.

They should have been close, they both contain the same kind and the same amount of abrasives and cleaners.
