Hi All!

I brought the GTO home! After the detailers at my work got to it it looks good! Before it was never waxed and extremely dirty!

I want to Clay Bar it and I've had good luck with both NXT and Mothers Carnuba cleaner wax.

I was told the NXT isnt safe to use often, but it looks SO GOOD!

I useto do one coat of Mothers and 2 coats of NXT,

Which combo of these 2 products would net the best results after the clay baring?

Clay- NXT- Mothers
Clay- Mothers- NXT

Depends on which product is more abrasive. I don't know if anybody can tell you that, aside from the people that manufacture it.

 

I used to use NXT but it's not even close to Tropi-care.

These are the only products I use on mine -> tropi-care.com

 

personally I prefer polishing with a porter-cable buffer (green Sonus foam pad) and 3M Perfect-it II swirl mark remover/polish followed by a top coat of turtle wax platinum series ultra gloss liquid wax to keep my paint in tip-top shape.
