Is it worth doing it?
one of the local shops got me an order of ASP underdrive crank pulley with belts. I can still change my mind if i want it or not.
Those who have it or heard good/bad about it, please let me know..
as of now, will buy it; yes 70%, no30%
someone...
i want to buy it to gain that little power that i can get out of it and do better on 1/4mile runs.

Check out installuniversity.com and LS1.com FAQs , I don't think you want any part of the pulley, seems ot cause a lot of problems, survey says, "NO".

We put one on almost every car that comes through here. Problems? Never.
Just make sure it is installed correctly and you should be fine. The SLP pulleys were definately a problem but we've never had any issues with the ASP's.

I've had mine on for 15,000 miles . I just took 3rd in the 130 mph division of the Silver State Classic ( silverstateclassice.com ) and have had NO problems . Definitely a worthwhile mod .

I've had ASP for 12,000 miles and 150 passes. Not one problem and several friends have 'em with no issues.
Since you have an A4, just get the crank pulley. It'll knock at least a tenth or so off of your time.
