Question New SS spoiler..would long till i wax??

i ordered a SS spoiler from WW and went ahead and got them to paint it for me also..they painted it last friday and it should ship out this week sometime..is the paint on the spoiler going to be cured enough to wax it..i want to clay my whole car when it gets here and then put a few layer of Meguiars GC on it before the summer..will i be ok..hehe i dont want to clay the paint off my spoiler..

There's no need to clay fresh paint, unless you're trying to remove some paint overspray. Otherwise fresh paint should be completely contaminant free. You can certainly clay the rest of the car though...no problem.

For the Meguiar's GC, you need to wait at least 1 month, maybe 2, before applying the GC to the frest paint. It's not recommended to use carnauba or cleaners on fresh paint, which GC contains both. If you want to use something right away, the best you can do is use a glaze, like Meguiar's #7 or 3M IHG. These offer no protection though... FYI, if you were using Zaino you could polish it after 1 or 2 weeks since it is flexible and won't hinder the drying process.
