Whats your DCR? 13.6 may be to much for pump gas.
I am rumming 13/1 with no problem on 92 octane, but my DCR is below 9.0.
If ya got detination ya need a tune or my special trick.

Give up the rest of the cam spects and I can tell ya.

If ya are running 110 or above and got detination ya need to get some timing out or put fuel in.I have run 110VP before on 14-1+ with no detination with a Fast system and 36* across the board.

Same old 383-- can't afford another one and business hasn't been real good lately,Sooo.

Re: high compression 396 spark plugs

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the plugs? Can you pick them up at the local auto parts store? Also, what plug gap are you running?

Thanks,

Jody J.

Re: high compression 396 spark plugs

Thanks for the info. I tried Jegs and they wanted $5 a plug I'll try the local stores first before I hit up Summit.

Do you know if these will work with a 150 - 250 shot of nitrous?

Thanks,

Jody J.
