Overboard

Just picked up my son's 94 z28 bored 40 over 58mm throttle body 50lb injectors lt4 hot cam longtubes 3 inch exhaust with loudmouth fogging fuel all the time sitting at light have to keep raving it like an old school blower motor 2800 stahl w shift kit were do I start w programing or tune any one lead me to a thread?

Let's move this from "New Member Into" to "LT1 Based Engine Tech", where tech problems are discussed.

You need to tune the PCM for the grossly oversized 50 #/HR injectors. Why would you put them in an engine with a HOT cam? Stockers would be fine. If you still have the stock injectors put them back in.

If you want to keep the 50's, get a copy of LT1_Edit for OBD-1, and tune it yourself. Or get a mail-order tune from someone like pcmforless:

PCM for Less

And stop driving it.... the excessive fuel is bypassing the rings and washing the lubrication off the cylinder walls, and diluting the engine oil.

Apologies trying g to do this from cell phone stuck in daytona. Had the injectors in it when I bought it I know the lt4 hot cam and bores 30 over going to pull injectors next week when I get home and worst case use ones off my formula to try to line out
