Sun visor fell off

Re: Sun visor fell off
Forgot to mention the car is a '96 Formula. I think '93 to '02 are the same for sun visors.
The mount and screws are are still in place. The visor itself fell off. The mounting "rod" or whatever it's called, is still attached to the visor. What holds the "rod" in the mount? Is there a grommet or something in the mount?

Re: Sun visor fell off
I went to the bone yard and found a real nice set from a Malibu or something like that in really good shape .They were a little bit longer but a lot sturdier than the floppy one that came on my 96 z28. Just took out the 3 mounting screws and replaced the whole assy. 10.bucks.Course I had a connection you may pay a little more

In case you haven't resolved this... the flared end of the rod has probably broken away, releasing the visor and rod from the mount. In it's place, you could tap the hole in the mount and install a screw to hold the washer and spring in place.
