Please help New to this Site
Heres a list of things Ive replaced, fuel filter, map sensor, pcv valve, harmonic balancer, rear bearings and seals, rear shocks, air filter, now have a k and n, cleaned throttle body, new throttle position sensor, cleaned mass airflow sensor. Heres the problem, check engine light is still on, my engine was recently rebuilt, it has 32000 miles on it, did 2 oil changes in 5 weeks, the second one due to motor flush. My optispark is brand new as well as my plugs and wires. The computer for some odd reason wont give error codes, thanks to the guy who had the car before me, dont know why. The other thing is my throttle response is absolutely terrible, the car drives like a 4 cylinder and its really upsetting I just sold my 78 camaro with 412 rwhp, to my uncle, and traded my 98 dodge ram in exchange for this camaro. The performance just isnt there, can someone please tell me maybe whats wrong. The engine runs great no noise tight with no leaks, theres not much more I can replace on the car and the problem is persistent. All replies will be greatly appreciated. Jason BTW, its a 94 z28 LT1.Thanks again.

Take the car somewhere to get the code read. That should be first and will almost for sure lead you in the right direction. If your able check the fuel pressure also. You could have something like a bad cat, bad O2 sensors or what ever the check engine light is showing. Did it run good up until recently, since the rebuild?

If you can't pull codes, check the ALDL connector under the dash. The key wire is the tan wire connected to pin M (lower row, all the way to the right).
