I can't say anything about the use with a 93. But I did review an Innova 3120 on a 94 and it did not work. I also reviewed an Actron 9185 and that did work on the 94. You have to shop around a lot to find one of those for about $150 (Advance Auto?) but it is possible.

Thank you both of you. I guess if it doesn't work it will surely come in use with another car. I'll resort to the paper clip if it doesn't. I ordered an aldl obd1 to USB to run data log also.
