Re: Cooling fan

The fan is programmed to come on when the check engine light does. Scan and find out what is causing the check engine light, fix the cause and the fans won't come on like they are doing now.

I have just experienced this same issue, have you been able to find out what the problem was?

Cheers,
Shea.

Re: Cooling fan

Checked my fuses in the fuse relay box, water pump fuse was blown, replaced and now no troubles.

Re: Cooling fan

I think you may mean the fuse for the AIR pump. The water pump is driven by a gear off the cam sprocket. There is no PCM code or fuse for the water pump.
