fuel pump trap door for v6 and v8

Is the fuel pump trap door location the same measurement for the 6v as the v8
I have done it on my v8, can I just give the location for the door to my friend that has a 2004 v6? Thanks for the help............

Your friend has a 2004 V6? I don't think so.

But assuming its a 2001 or 2002, when they actually made an F-Body, the fuel tank and the location is different than the 93-98 cars. They went to a plastic tank, I believe in 99, and altered the location of the pump. Not much, but it's different enough that we have 2 different "stickies" for the different setups.
