Just confused..

im gonna start with telling the story on how i got the car. The car was torn apart inside carpet was torn out half of the side plannels are gone. even the windows were down.. The guy who had the car before me was a heavy drug dealer and is now in jail.. He had lost the keys to the car and butchered the ingition trying to get the car to cut on i guess. well i had put a battery in the car and a new ingintion that came from a white ls body v6 car. i turn the key and i got everything to cut on and finally figured out what the mileage was on the car. the car won't cut on but it does everything else... i know the vat system and the security wont let it.. I know bypassing it is an possbilty but will it be different since i put a different ingition in the car for the vats..? Iconfused and i hope who reads this understands my point. _ThanksName: 20131111_071540_zpsc4e24aa5.jpg

Re: Just confused..

You can read about the VATS on my website. What you have done so far is really not going to be of any consequence if you are going to bypass.

That car needs a lot of love.

Did you replace the key cylinder, the ignition (electrical) switch, or both? Are you attempting to use the ignition key from the V6 car?
