First Autox

I always wanted to try this and last week i was invited to the local circle track to an Autox event. They use the infeild as well as the track. First time around I missed one of the gates, next time I missed the same one.... 3rd round my time was 64.5(best time of the night was 52.8) 4th round 60.2, 5th round 58.8. After that they had what they called a fun run, where you could take a passenger, so the guy that invited me to the event came with me, he said the car has more in it i just need the confidence to drive it... That said i had NO idea my car would do what it did. Needless to say it was a great time and I'm looking forward to the next event.

I would love to take my car to a track, but im stuck in chicago with no place to go (for now). Did you have to pay to drive it on the track? what tire set up did you have? did you use the nitrous?

Thanks,
