Post MSCC autoX this weekend....

yep another one

I am thinking of going, I work at 3:30 which sucks, and can't be late or people won't get there movies started.

I am hoping I can get my *** up and over there and try to get at least the first 2 rounds. I think I stumbled across a nice autoXing exhasut setup for my car for $20. That gives me about couple tenths more at the dragstrip, but I guess is considered "legal" for AutoX. I might try it out.

Chuck you going? trust your new SS enough to rev it high and run it hard for an autoX yet?

Not sure If I am reading right but it looks like if I go into the motor, that I might actually be moved up to C-Race. YIKES

at least its another reason for me not ot waste anymore money pon this car.

Judging by your absence, you must have had a good time at the party. You should've come out. We had an awesome course for the big V8s. There was a straight full throttle shot all the way across the track from left to right, followed by a sweeping 180 left hander that brought us to the back right corner of the track. Then we were hard on the gas again all the way back across to the left side again. Don't get me wrong. There were lots of other corners too. But these 2 drag runs let the Vettes, Z28s and Firehawk get up and stretch their legs out. For once we beat back at the Miata gang and their 4 bangers. Warren Justice and I traded cars for fun runs. That 1LE and the sticky Hoosiers were very very close to FTD posted by Don Hosler in the Z06. I hope to have Hoosiers on th SS someday. There's no comparison to my street tires. The Hoosiers were like being glued to the pavement. And to beat all that... this'll **** you off Eric... the event was complete before 2:00. :O You still would've had time to get to work! lol

I might not make it next month. It's gonna be on the 3rd Sunday (7/21) and my wife's talking about vacationing during that weekend. I'm soooooooooo SOL.

Yeah, the alarm clock went off at 7:30 am, I stood up, and if I took a sobriety test, I would have failed miserable.

I am stating to break in a new muffler on my car, so its running even better, I may keep this setup till next month.
